These terms
These terms apply when a business or one of its team members signs up for, signs in to, or uses TalkFuze, including the shared inbox, website chat widget, AI drafts, Autopilot, orders from chat and analytics. TalkFuze is operated by Hostnin. By using TalkFuze you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the business you work for.
Your workspace and team
Each business works in its own workspace. The workspace owner decides who joins, what role each person has and which channels are connected, and is responsible for what the team does in TalkFuze.
Keep sign-in details and connection secrets private, and tell us quickly at info@hostnin.com if you think someone got in who should not have. We may pause access when that is needed to protect a workspace, its customers or the service.
Connected channels
TalkFuze sends and receives messages through WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram and your website chat. When you connect a channel, you also agree to that platform's own rules, such as Meta's WhatsApp Business and Messenger policies, including when you may message a customer first.
Delivery depends on those platforms too. If a platform is down, limits an account or changes its rules, messages can be delayed or blocked, and that is outside our control.
AI drafts and Autopilot
AI drafts are suggestions written from your knowledge base, catalog and the conversation. They can be wrong. Your team decides what is sent, so review drafts the way you would review a new teammate's reply.
If you turn on Autopilot, TalkFuze replies to customers without an agent reviewing each message first. You choose when and where to use it, and you are responsible for those replies just as you are for the ones your team sends. Keep your knowledge base and prices up to date so the AI has the right answers.
Your customers' data
The conversations, contacts and orders in your workspace belong to your business. We process them only to run TalkFuze for you, as described in our Privacy Notice.
You are responsible for telling your customers how you handle their messages and for having a lawful reason to contact them.
Acceptable use
- No spam or bulk messages to people who did not ask to hear from you.
- Nothing illegal, fraudulent, abusive or misleading, and no impersonating another business.
- No attempts to break into other workspaces, overload the service, or get around limits and security checks.
- No reselling or copying TalkFuze without a written agreement with us.
Fees
We are onboarding businesses free of charge right now. If we introduce paid plans later, we will tell workspace owners in advance, and fees apply only after you agree to them.
Availability and changes
We work to keep TalkFuze fast and available, but it can be interrupted for maintenance, security work, outages at our providers or events outside our control. TalkFuze keeps improving, so features may change. When a change matters to how you use TalkFuze, we let workspace owners know.
Ending your use
You can stop using TalkFuze at any time. We may suspend or close a workspace that breaks these terms or puts other users or the service at risk. After a workspace closes, you can ask us to delete its data, as described in the Privacy Notice.
Responsibility and liability
TalkFuze is provided as it is offered at the time you use it. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost sales or lost profits, that come from using or being unable to use the service, from a connected platform, or from replies your team or Autopilot sends.
Updates to these terms
We may update these terms as TalkFuze changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we tell workspace owners before it applies. Continuing to use TalkFuze after that means you accept the updated terms.
